All courses have been designed to meet the requirements of the regulations laid down in the forthcoming Fire White Paper. It is now your responsibility to ensure your business meets safety criteria set by government legislation. You will be penalised if you don’t have correct procedures and documentation in place.

With the introduction of the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order (RRFSO), replacing 118 pieces of legislation including the Fire Precautions Act 1971, the RRFSO firmly places a responsibility on the Responsible person, and outlines all the measures that must be taken to ensure the safety of all people he/she is either directly or indirectly responsible for.

It requires the Responsible person to ensure the completion of a Fire Risk Assessment, produce fire safety policy and procedures, provide staff training and carry out fire drills.
